Insurance Companies

To register and drive a Belgian vehicle, you must have third-party liability insurance coverage. This insurance covers damages to third parties.

You can supplement this insurance with material damage coverage (comprehensive insurance). It covers the repair costs of your vehicle after approval from the company, which may appoint an expert. There is also a “mini-comprehensive” policy that limits coverage to certain parts of the vehicle.

A deductible (variable) is the amount you are responsible for paying. An “English” deductible only applies below a repair value threshold set by the Insurance Company. VAT may also be your responsibility if the vehicle is registered in the name of a company.

Remember that a repair is not a restoration to new condition but a return to working order. Repair work is subject to the approval of the Company, which may appoint an expert.

The repair invoice is issued in the name of the vehicle owner. It is your responsibility to send a copy to your insurance company.

Payment can be made directly by the company to our repair shop. Reimbursement can also be paid to the vehicle owner. In this case, it is your responsibility to settle the repair amount with us.

You are responsible for paying deductibles and VAT if it is applicable to you.

The law authorizes the repairer to retain the vehicle in case of non-payment of a repair invoice.

The Belgian fleet numbers around 7 million vehicles circulating on our 120,000 km road network. The risk of collisions is therefore very real.

In the event of an accident, if you are unfortunately injured, the Police will draw up a report of your claim and establish an official statement identified by its number (important information).

If there is only material damage and both parties are acting in good faith, police presence is not mandatory. After securing the accident scene, you can complete an amicable accident report, which will be legally binding provided it is signed by both parties.

You are free to choose your repairer. We are approved by all major companies established in Belgium.
If your repairer is approved by your insurance company, an expert’s visit is not mandatory, and the repair can be paid directly to them.
When we receive your vehicle, we prepare a repair estimate subject to the expert’s approval. Once approved, we begin the repair.
The steps: dismantling, ordering parts, repairing or replacing parts, preparation and painting with oven curing, reassembly, electrical connections, finishing, and washing before the final Quality control.
Currently, it is not possible to track the progress of your vehicle’s repair online.
Bodywork repair is probably the most significant procedure your vehicle will undergo during its lifetime. This intervention will be carried out according to the highest standards, with the best technical and human resources.
Just like after a surgical operation, we appreciate feedback after a few hundred kilometers post-repair to finalize any remaining details.
Our repairs are guaranteed for 3 years, excluding wear parts (batteries, tires, wiper blades, bulbs, belts, oils, etc.). Our paintwork is guaranteed for life.
Please note: your paint will only be truly dry 2 weeks after application. During this period, do not take your vehicle to a car wash, and especially not to a pressure washer.

We can provide our clients with a replacement vehicle for the duration of the repair, as part of their insurance coverage.

A handover and return report will be drawn up. You are responsible for using this car with “due care and attention”. It is covered by comprehensive insurance with a €1,000 deductible.

Its use is restricted to declared drivers.
